Professional Background
Elizabeth “Betty” Bonsu is a seasoned regulatory, clinical research, and engineering project management professional with over 18 years of experience supporting drug development, medical devices, clinical research operations, and healthcare engineering projects. She is widely recognized for her ability to bridge regulatory compliance, quality systems, and project delivery excellence across highly regulated environments.
Elizabeth is a PMP®-certified Project Manager and Certified Scrum Master, with deep expertise in both traditional and Agile project management methodologies. Her professional background spans software and hardware medical device development, validation and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT), commissioning, equipment lifecycle management, and quality management system (QMS) implementation.
As the founder and leader behind TMEP Consulting, TMEP Divinity Clinical Research, TMEP Career Coaching; a TedMed Engineering Projects organizations, Elizabeth provides strategic guidance to startups and established organizations navigating complex regulatory landscapes, including FDA, EU MDR, UK MDR, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, GCP, GMP, and GDP requirements. She has successfully managed cross-functional, global teams and served as a trusted partner to organizations seeking to bring safe, compliant, and effective products to market.
Elizabeth is equally passionate about clinical research operations, participant safety, and ethical compliance. She has led the development of SOPs, IRB processes, staff training programs, and regulatory documentation to ensure adherence to ICH-GCP standards and U.S. federal regulations.
Beyond consulting, Elizabeth is committed to mentorship, career coaching, and professional development, helping emerging professionals build successful careers in project management, regulatory affairs, and life sciences. Biography
Elizabeth “Betty” Bonsu is originally from Ghana, West Africa. She has been married to Michael Bonsu since 2007 and is a devoted mother. At just 24 years old, Elizabeth made the courageous decision to move to the United States on her own. Facing significant hardship, including a period of homelessness, she persevered through resilience, determination, and hard work to pursue higher education.
Through unwavering commitment, Elizabeth put herself through college and successfully earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering Technology, becoming an engineer in 2007. She went on to further her education by obtaining a Master of Science in Engineering Management, with a specialization in Project Management. Driven by a passion for leadership and organizational excellence, she later pursued a Doctor of Science in Business Administration and earned her Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification, among other professional credentials.
Elizabeth holds dual citizenship in Ghana and the United States. She is deeply committed to giving back by sharing her education, experience, and expertise with communities in both countries. Through her career coaching and professional development programs, as well as Ghana–USA career exchange initiatives, she actively supports knowledge transfer, mentorship, and global workforce development.
A purpose-driven leader, Elizabeth’s life and work are grounded in service, integrity, and continuous growth. She is known for her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to helping others succeed—qualities shaped by her personal journey and professional experiences.
From an early age, Elizabeth demonstrated a passion for learning, problem-solving, and leadership. Managing equipment installation, servicing and qualification to meet and maintain regulatory compliance.
.Managing FAT and SAT medical device projects.

Managing installation qualification, operational qualification, process qualification / instrument performance qualification IQOQPQ / IQOQIPV projects.
As a project manager with validation and Quality background and working experience; I am experienced and able to write protocols, SOPs, work instructions and manage it through change controls in a Quality Management System ( QMS).

As an ISO 9001 certified auditor, I also managed QMS auditing projects. I will assess your QMS system and processes to determine issues that can create compliance concerns during a regulatory inspection.
I am GCP ( Good clinical Practice) certified and experience with managing clinical research sites.

I also teach and coach professional how to obtain the education and skills to work in the industry.
